My darling Jim,
It is 20 years since you creatively asked me to smile for you as Papa proudly walked me down the aisle of MPC for us to spiritually seal our oneness-oriented journey.
In hindsight, it is the deeper implication of such a request from you, that has been a source of strength for me in your absence. Our intentional navigation of a healthy relational dynamic is no exaggeration, and I welcome any honest challenges to the contrary.

Although I knew how important it was for us to honor our marriage vows on the foundation of mutual respect, I never imagined the extent to which that would one day impact my wellbeing. For it is the cherished memories of our union that provide much solace and guidance for me to use as a “physical team of one” on a mission. I know for certain that if the “Lord above” had found it fit for me to precede you, you would have reaped the same benefit from our mutual investment
For all that God did for us as a couple, I will always be grateful. I also thank him for the blessings he bestows upon me from unexpected places. I love you, my darling, and will continue to heed to you request to smile for you as I do all in my power to keep your legacy alive in every possible way.
Well, My Darling, I will now sign off with the signature tune of the day. Smile For Me. I know you are not surprised to learn that I have pictures to look at and videos to watch in celebration of our time together.
Your Honey,
Madona
